RANGELY | At this fall’s first home football game the Rangely Panthers will debut their new game time entrance tunnel. The tunnel, which is a 17 foot high inflatable replica of the team helmet, was purchased by the Rangely Panther Booster Club. Rodger Polley, who helped coordinate the project, said that the team thought the helmet tunnel would provide great motivation as they run onto the field.
Polley said sponsors such as Rangely True Value and EMC Plumbing have helped foot the $3,200 bill along with money raised by the football team. There is still sign space available for two additional sponsors. Anyone interested should contact Polley.
