Panthers end season in Craig

The Rangely Panther wrestling team went to Craig for their last tournament of the year and had an awesome finish to their season.
Seventeen wrestlers competed in the tournament and 13 of them placed in the top four.
Last week’s champion was Tyce Lucero. Second place winners were Landon Carlson, Jedidiah Vanderwark, Kobey Chism, Corbin Lucero, Dontea Pearce and Tytus Coombs. Third place winners were Anthony Dorris, Karver Lopez, Joshua Dunn and C.J. Lucero. Fourth place winners were Damen Maybury and Jaxon Torsell.
Competing in the tournament but not placing were Colton Stevens, Byron MacKay, Brody McElhaney and Max Stout.
“Great job to all the Rangely wrestlers this season, the boys all worked so hard and improved so much throughout the season,” coach Andy Lucero said. “I hope you had a good time and we will see you back again next year! I would also like to thank the coaches who helped out this season with the kids. It was awesome to have all of your support. The parents support was amazing also.”
