MEEKER I Pioneers Healthcare Foundation announced that the 2015 Healthcare Scholarship applications are now available.
The deadline for applying for the scholarships is April 10, and the applications are available at pioneershealthfoundation.org/about-us/news/
If you are a high school senior planning on pursuing a degree in a healthcare-related field; or if you are a continuing student working on your associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field, we invite you to complete an application.
Additionally, the Kris Borchard Strive for Excellence Scholarship application is available. If you have completed your bachelor’s degree and are working on an advanced degree, master’s or medical school (for example: nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, medical school, etc.), we invite you apply. This scholarship is a renewable scholarship for up to four years.
Almost $35,000 in scholarships has been awarded since the program started in 2008. The program has experience many successful recipients such as certified nurse’s assistants who have completed their bachelor of nursing degrees.
“We couldn’t offer the scholarship program without great community support,” Margie Joy said. “We appreciate the support of the many organizations that have supported the program over the years.”
