Plein Air Best of Show won by Cunningham

MEEKER I Maym Cunningham of Meeker won the Best of Show Award at the Plein Air Meeker 2013 competition with her “Mountain Trail” painting.
Jennifer Riefenberg from Littleton won second place, Deanna Messing from Craig was third, Charley Hart from Craig and Jeanne Newman from Meeker each won an honorable mention award.
Cunningham, with her painting “Cattleguard Décor,” also secured the People’s Choice award for this year’s competition.
Artists where found at Circle Park on Saturday morning and had two hours to complete a painting that was then submitted for sale and the quick draw contest.
Riefenberg won Best of Show while Pat Daggett, Jane Hume and Jeanne Newman received honorable mention awards.
