RBC | The Bureau of Land Management, in cooperation with Western Area Power Administration, has recently announced it will prepare an environmental impact statement for the TransWest Express Transmission Project — a regional transmission system upgrade that will deliver 3,000 megawatts of clean energy from Wyoming to the Desert Southwest. The BLM is requesting input from the public in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Nevada.
The three TWE project scoping meetings scheduled for Colorado are as follows:
Thursday, Jan. 27 in Rangely, Colo., at Northwestern Community College, Weiss Activity Center at 500 Kennedy Dr.‚ from 4-7 p.m.
Monday, Jan. 31 in Grand Junction, Colo., at Central High School Library‚ 550 Warrior Way from 4-7 p.m.
