PUBLIC NOTICE
CUT AND REMOVE WEEDS
Meeker Municipal Code Sections 8.20.104 and 8.20.105 requires that owners of land within the Town or any agent in charge of such property are required to cut and remove the weeds, brush, including weeds that have grown along alleys and in the public right-of-way adjacent to such property.
A written notice may be served upon the owner or agent and if not complied with by the 20th of June and maintained to keep growth to a length of no greater than a height of 12 inches at all times, the owner may be cited and required to appear in Municipal Court or the Town will cut the weeds and assess a tax lien against the property in which the weeds and brush have been removed.

INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Meeker Water Supply Improvements- Phase 2 Re-Bid, Meeker, Colorado will be received by The Town of Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market St., Meeker, Colorado 81641, until 11:00 A.M. local time on July 3, 2018. The envelopes containing bids shall be marked as follows: “Bid- Meeker Water Supply Improvements- Phase 2 Re-Bid”. Bids received will be publicly opened and read during the Board of Trustees meeting at 7 P.M. on July 3, 2018.
The project consists of constructing two new production wells (approximately 60 feet in depth) with 16” diameter steel casings, stainless steel screens, and submersible pumps with pit less adaptors, meter pits and associated equipment. The project also includes approximately 2,000 Linear Feet of 6”, 8” and 12” raw water lines along with electrical improvements and fiber optics conduit/ cable to connect the new sites to the well pump station. 
At the existing well pump station, the project involves installing a new high service vertical turbine pump, relocation of the clear well level monitoring system and the replacement of the existing well pump house flow meter and other items as noted in the specification and the plans.  All work to be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to Town of Meeker, Colorado, 345 Market St., Meeker, Colorado as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance.
