MEEKER I On Sunday, the Rio Blanco County Historical Society will host a quarterly meeting at Kilowatt Korner, Sixth and Market.
A potluck dinner will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a short business meeting. Then Ellene Meece, a local antique specialist, will put on a program about antiques. This is in anticipation of the “Pioneer Treasures – Appraisals and Auction,” which the historical society will host Saturday, May 1 at the Fairfield Center in Meeker.
For Sunday’s quarterly meeting, the main dish and drinks will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. All historical society members and friends of the White River Museum are invited.
