Rangely business classes travel to Grand Junction

RANGELY I The business classes of Rangely High School took a trip to Grand Junction April 14 to the Entrepreneurship Day at Mesa State College. They participated in a variety of workshop activities related to the economy and business. Some of the workshops included “Social Change Through Social Entrepreneurship” and an “Economic Outlook for Mesa County.”

After lunch, the students returned to the campus for the main event. They met economist Ben Stein and listened to his speech on the condition of America. He told them that although the economic condition is not ideal, it is far from the worst it could be. He stated that even with the way our country is now, it is still the best country on the planet, and we should be proud to be Americans.
