RANGELY | The Annual Crab Crack to raise money for the CNCC Foundation will be held February 12 at the Weiss Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.
If you didn’t buy your tickets to this year’s event, you are too late. The 250 available tickets went on sale Friday and were sold out by the end of the day.
Event director Peggy Rector said, “This is the first time in the history of the Crab Crack that the tickets have sold out in one day.”
Rector gives credit to Tim Webber for the quick sales. The Rangely Chamber of Commerce is this year’s sponsor. In addition to all the crab you can eat, catered by James Stinson of Sodexo, there will be beer and wine for sale.
The chamber will announce the business of the year award; there will not be a Volunteer of the Year award as in the past. After dinner Joe Sears will provide entertainment.
