The format for the Elks’ tournament was gross scores by four-person teams in a scramble. Low gross was won by the Rangely team of Clark Edwards, Hunter Fellows, Mark Skelton and Ellen Boudreaux with a low-gross 59. There was a two-way tie for second as both teams scored gross scores of 64. One team was Terry Richardson, Kelton Elam, Trilby Elam and Cori Elam. The other team was Ricky Morgan, Julian Medoza, Mike Mendoza and Aaron Palacios.

On April 4, the Meeker Lions Club installed new shelving units for the New Eden Pregnancy Care Center. New Eden asked the Lion’s Club to help them come up with more storage for items within the building, and the Lion’s Club raised money to purchase shelves. OPAL MUNGER PHOTO
