RANGELY | The Rangely Food Bank is in desperate need of your donations. After several years of a tight local economy the Rangely Food Bank is continuing to experience increased demand for their services. With the demand increasing the food bank is in need of cash donations to help purchase food for the community people in need. Currently the food bank is open one day a week on Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. and since there is such a high demand the Food Bank will be opening another day a week on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. starting the first week in March. With your cash donation the Rangely Food Bank is able to purchase items from the Palisade warehouse at a very cheap price. Items include meat, soups, vegetables, baby items, bread and some hygiene products. The people who run the food bank are all volunteers. No one is paid for their time or service. We have consistently provided a minimum of two weeks’ worth of food items for 35 families a month. The number of families that we service is constantly increasing. At this time we are only able to provide enough food for one week. If you have any questions or you would like to donate call Chris 970-620-2407. We would also like to thank all of the companies who donated in 2017 and a big thanks to the volunteers who make this program a success.
