RANGELY — Last Saturday, the Rangely JV girls basketball team hosted West Grand and came away with a victory 48-15.
The girls have been playing hard all year but it was good to see them do well on the fundamentals, Coach Michael Skaggs said.
The JV Panthers were able to get some playing time for some of those who haven’t been able to play much this year and got very good production from those players.
One of those players was Haley Enterline who came away with 10 points and good experience.
Leading the way for the JV Panthers was Hunter Schaeffer with 17 points and did a great job on the boards.
Sheina Ferhn did a great job handling the ball and scored nine points.
Roz Thacker came away with eight points and Dakota Kenney, Kristin Steele and Torie Slagle each scored two points.
With the win the JV Panthers even their record at 5-5.
