The Rangely Hurricanes have won the Seasonal Club small team state championship the last three years. They got a good start this year, swimming to a fourth title. The Hurricanes hosted a meet attended by swimmers from Steamboat Springs, Craig and Battlement Mesa. Nora Patch, Justin Prosser, Geli Brown, Patrick Scoggins, James Scoggins, Tessa Slagle and Grant Lancaster were all high-point winners in their respective divisions. This week the 8-and-under swimmers will compete in Ouray and the older swimmers will compete in Grand Junction.
