RANGELY | This weekend Rangely Junior High volleyball teams traveled to Debeque in the rain early on Saturday. We only took two teams: the Black team and Green team. The Black team played very well against the Debeque Dragons. This gave coaches a chance to sub some of the sixth graders into the rotation and they did a great job.
“We have been working hard with the Silver team on rotations the last two weeks and have seen a great improvement along with them having the understanding of doing a rotation. The Green team struggled and did not come up with a win but still are working hard,” said coach Patsy Wanstedt.
The teams are going to work hard this week in practice to get ready for districts that will be at home on Saturday, Oct. 7 starting at 9 a.m. All the teams are determined to work harder to come out on top to finish the season on top.
“We want to thank all of the fans for driving to Debeque to support the girls and all of their hard work,” Wanstedt said.
