Rangely Locals

Hello, all! Hopefully, you haven’t forgotten me. I have taken some time off since my accident last summer but I’m back to feeling great and ready to share some news with you.
First, congratulations to the high school wrestlers who made it to state. Next, good luck to the basketball teams as they begin districts.
My little sister, Emma, participated in the pee-wee cheerleading event hosted by the cheerleaders and although she stood on the court with her blanket in her mouth, I know she had a great time because we hear the cheers over and over at home!
My thoughts go out to Jane Miller and her family as they mourn the loss of her brother.
I want to remind you that the Children’s Health Fair and preschool registration is in Rangely on Feb. 28 and March 1 and in Meeker on March 7 and 8. This is an excellent opportunity to make sure that your child is developing on schedule. This is open to all children ages birth to five. If your child is already enrolled in preschool or Kindergarten, they don’t need to attend because the school takes care of the screenings. You can call 675-2064 to schedule an appointment.
Congratulations to Casey and Natalie Ducey on the birth of their son! I’ll bet Ashlynn is enjoying being a big sister.
My nephew, Cutler, will be turning two on Sunday and we will be celebrating with him this weekend.
A special wish to my cousin, Suzy, who will have a birthday on Feb. 26. Other birthday wishes go to Lacie Kendrick on March 1.
Here’s what I’m asking from you: Please give me news I can share! I love hearing about trips you have taken, birthdays, anniversaries, visitors, etc. Just give me a call at (970)640-4412 or e-mail me at: [email protected].
