RANGELY — Did you enjoy the sunshine last weekend? Hopefully, it was the beginning of more! I’m hoping that now that people are wanting to get out they’ll share news for my article. I’m always wanting to hear about birthdays, anniversaries, visitors or anything else happening in Rangely that I can add to my column.
Sue Rouse and her grandson, D.J., were in town visiting family and friends a few weeks ago and I heard D.J. even went to Parkview Elementary to have lunch with his sister, Jaycee.
The Children’s Health Fair was a huge success this year and I had the opportunity to help out. Between Rangely and Meeker, there were more than 145 children who participated and the feedback from parents was very positive.
Does your business have an “Employee of the Month?” If so, I would be happy to recognize them in my column. This week, I would like to congratulate Angie Miller for being employee of the month for Quality Carpet and Furnishings.
Birthday wishes this week to Branson Shelton on April 18, Karen Stanley and Carl Rector on April 22. I would also like to send long distance good wishes to Alma Pearson who celebrates her birthday April 18 and anniversary wishes to my cousins Danette and Brian Lurvey on April 20. One final wish to my sister, Brooke Lohse, for her “homecoming” day on April 16. Ask my mom sometime why all her kids have this special day. Does your family have traditions that you would like to share? Let me know!
I can be reached at [email protected] or (970) 675-8021. I would love to hear from you!
