RANGELY — Rangely High School’s National Honor Society members are participating in the Starlight Children’s Foundation toy drive. Club members would like to encourage everyone to give this Christmas season.
The Starlight Toy Drive is a toy drive to make the holidays better for hospitalized children. The toy donations range from newborns to 18 years of age.
Some items you might consider for donation are small toys, board games, puzzles, arts and crafts supplies, coloring and activity books, crayons, markers, handheld games, books, G- and PG-rated movies, and for the little ones, rattles, sound makers and blocks.
Babies and teenagers are the main age groups that receive very few items. A few items that would be good for teenagers would be portable CD players, MP3 players, etc.
The toy drive will only be going until Dec. 15.
If you would like to donate any items, the toy bin will be located at Rangely High School. All donations must be taken to the high school in order to reach the children for Christmas so hurry with your donations. They are much appreciated.
Club members will deliver the toys to local hospitals. The Starlight Children’s Foundation appreciates the effort each of you put out to make this project a success. Your contributions will bring happiness and much comfort to the children.
