Rangely police seek those who vandalized 10 trees

RANGELY I The Rangely Police Department is seeking local help in solving a case of criminal mischief committed on some young trees on Rio Mesa Drive in Rangely.

Between 7 p.m. on March 22 and 3 p.m. on March 23, an unknown suspect or suspects damaged 10 trees planted on an undeveloped plot on Rio Mesa Drive. The trees were cut half way with a saw and then broken the rest of the way by hand. The estimated damage to all trees is approximately $3,000.
If you know who may have committed this crime, the Rangely Police Department is asking you to call the department at 970-675-8466. A $500 reward is offered.
