RANGELY I We started off a tough season facing weather and rescheduling issues. With Basalt and Aspen, we faced right off the bat two of the toughest teams in the league. Our defense played great and held out until the end, but we we lost both games.
On April 8, we were beat by Roaring Fork 3-0 and the JV won 1-0. On April 10, we faced Colorado Rocky Mountain School and tied 1-1. Monday, we played Grand Valley at home and the varsity tied in double overtime 1-1. The girls fought hard to the end. Our only goal was scored by Rose Peterson. Our JV lost 1-0.
We play at home again Friday against Coal Ridge and on the road next week for three games.
