Results of Meeker Run for Your Life 5K

There were 20 runners in the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan-sponsored Run for Your Life 5K (3.1 miles) on July 4. The winner was Meeker High School distance runner Austin Russell, who ran away with the 2016 Range Call event. He had a time of 18.57 seconds, more than 45 seconds ahead of second place runner Marty Casey, who won the men’s 30 to 39-year-old group with a time of 19:42, and third place Terrance Casias, who turned in a 20:33 and who captured the 19 to 29-year-old group.
