RANGELY — In recent weeks the Rangely Police Department has taken numerous complaints from several people and business owners in town concerning vandalism. An unknown person(s) has been spray painting sides of buildings, cars, etc. The “tagger” has painted the same D.I.?. insignia in spray paint. The most recently vandalized building is the newly opened Blue Mountain Inn. If anyone has information regarding these incidents, call the police at (970) 675-8466. Blue Mountain Inn has offered a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the vandal.

RANGELY — A former staff member at Colorado North-western Community College was arrested for allegedly trying to solicit a 13-year-old girl online.
CRAIG — The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) has completed a six-week investigation into the shooting of at least 34 elk on two Moffat County ranches.
