Twenty-five students were graduated from Rangely High School on Sunday afternoon in front of a high school auditorium filled with family members and supporters. Several students netted school honors and learned they were recipients of more than 25 scholarships announced during commencement exercises.
Colorado Northwestern Community College President Russell George served as this year’s Rangely High School commencement keynote speaker. George gave the students several points of advice, emphasizing the importance of continued education and building and utilizing spiritual, emotional and social support systems throughout their lives.Jeff LeBleu, left, presented the award to Aimee Hogan and Tessa Slagle.

On April 4, the Meeker Lions Club installed new shelving units for the New Eden Pregnancy Care Center. New Eden asked the Lion’s Club to help them come up with more storage for items within the building, and the Lion’s Club raised money to purchase shelves. OPAL MUNGER PHOTO
