RANGELY — The Lady Panthers concluded their successful season Nov. 20 with the banquet.
This was a time to recognize outstanding athletes who made great strides and contributions to the team.
The Panthers’ most valuable players honors went to Meagan Piering and Heather Wanstedt. Most improved went to sophomore Tessa Briggs, rookie of the year was Hunter Schaeffer and coach’s award went to Dakota Kenney.
Also being honored were our all-conference players. First team was Meagan Piering, Heather Wanstedt and Audrey Hogan; honorable mention was Marie Morton, Victoria Phelan and Dakota Kenney. Meagan Piering was also the third top-ranked player in the league, who then competed in the all-state games.
