MEEKER | Several agencies have joined forces for a community clean-up effort along the White River from Sulphur Creek to the 10th Street Bridge. Spearheaded by Shawn Welder from the White River Alliance and the Yellow Jacket Conservation District, the goal is to “bring more attention to the river and its health.” Volunteers are welcome. Meet at Town Park at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 27. Bring gloves and boots, if desired. Lunch will be provided.
