RJHS A, B girls lose four

RANGELY I This past week, the Rangely Middle School basketball teams traveled to Soroco Thursday. The A team played pretty well but lost by a score of 25-14.

Kacie Lapp was the leading scorer with six points, followed by Jayleen Kenney with five. Dustie Nelson added two and Mariah Vaugh added one.
The B team played and lost 24-9. Carrie Wilson scored five points, Audrey Patch and Bayleigh Wilson each added a pair.
On Saturday, the team hosted Meeker. The B team lost 17-4. Even though the team lost by 13, the team played better, obviously improving each week. Carrie Wilson scored all four points.
The A team lost 34-12. Jayleen Kenney scored six points while Susie Gillard, Zoey Peck and Dustie Nelson each added two points.
The team travels to Steamboat Saturday with a 10 a.m. start.
