RANGELY I The Rangely Junior High School football team completed its four-game home stand by defeating North Park Middle School by an impressive 50-20 score on Friday afternoon.
The Panthers were led by quarterback Devin Ramirez as he scored one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown.
Also leading the Panthers in scoring was Drew Brannen. Brannen caught a 33-yard pass from quarterback Mark Mercado and sprinted 29 yards to the end zone for the score. Brannen also returned a fumbled punt return 39 yards for a touchdown.
In the previous three home games, the Panthers defeated Craig by a 28-6 score, Soroco by a 38-22 margin, and Hayden by 20-6.
The Panthers are currently 6-1 overall and will complete their season today in Oak Creek against Soroco Middle School.
