The Rangely Middle School Science Fair, held in the Rangely Junior-Senior High School commons area on May 2, featured dozens of entries from sixth through eighth graders. Winners will be announced at the school’s annual awards night, with first place winners in each grade receiving $100, second place winners earning $40, and third place honorees taking home $25. Twenty-two school, college and community participants judged the event. It has been held at Colorado Northwestern Community College in the past but was hosted in-house for the second year in a row.
