Rohn named new RCOC director

RANGELY I Nita Rohn was named the new executive director of the Rangely Chamber of Commerce.
“She’s going to be outstanding,” RCOC board president Henry Hames said after a decision was made last week. “I think we are going to see a boost in what’s happening around Rangely once we get her on board.”
Rohn’s first day on the job was June 13 and she was excited to get started working with the membership.
“I’m really excited to help local businesses to get the recognition they deserve,” Rohn said. “I want to help continue to make this a great place to live.”
Rohn said her first priority will be to build the membership of approximately 100 businesses and tell them about the benefits of joining the chamber.
“We want businesses to feel they are getting a good bang for their buck for being a member,” Rohn said.
Rohn is married to Dennis, who works for EnCana, and the couple has three children: Greg (13), Tristin (10) and Samantha (6).
“There is a lot that needs to be done but I think the sky is the limit,” Rohn said.
