Royalty and 2016 parade marshals

MEEKER I The Meeker High School student council announced the 2016 Homecoming royalty nominees and parade marshals. Kris and Henry Arcolesse, owners and operators of Meeker’s Ma Famiglia Italian Restaurant, have been chosen to be the parade marshals for the Homecoming parade beginning next Friday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m., downtown. Amack said both “Kris and Henry have supported so many activities and individual students. They make you smile whether walking into their restaurant or seeing them out in the community.” Kris is a member of the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District board of directors.
Royalty candidates, which will be presented at the Homecoming dance Oct. 22 are nominated by each high school class. This year’s nominees are: Class of 2020 (freshmen)—Jeni Kincher, Josh Dinwiddie, Kolbi Franklin and Elijah Deming; Class of 2019 (sophomores)—Lila Klinglesmith, Stephen Walsh, Kassie Luce, and Brayden Woodward; Class of 2018 (juniors)—Riley Pertile, Uri Goedert, Isabel Feichter of Italy, and Doak Mantle; Class of 2017 (seniors)—Loran Casias, Austin Russell, Maggie Phelan and Cole Brown.
