Rushers named ‘home of’ honoree

RANGELY — Wade and Lynn Rusher of Rangely are this week’s “home of” honorees. Wade moved to Rangely in 1997. Shortly after arriving, Wade and Lynn were married. They celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary this year.
Wade is employed by EnCana Oil and Gas. Lynn is a stay-at-home mom and has an in-home daycare business.
The Rushers have two children: son Justin, 7, is a first-grader at Parkview Elementary and daughter Whitney is 4.
In their spare time the family enjoys drag racing and has recently taken up geocaching.
“We’ve always lived in a small town. We like the small town community and Rangely’s community pride.”
