Dear Editor:
The Bureau of Land Management’s White River Field Office would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Rangely Boy Scout Troop 150 and Scoutmaster David Morton for their service in performing a trash clean-up Aug. 9 of Texas Beach along the White River, west of Rangely.
Our public lands are a valuable resource for public recreation. By performing this clean-up, the local Boy Scouts are helping to maintain our public lands in a safe and usable way for everyone to enjoy.
We encourage everyone to say “thank you” to the local Boy Scouts for their efforts!
Sincerely,
Chad Schneckenburger
