RBC I State Senator Al White, R-Hayden, announced today that he will be joining the Hickenlooper Administration as Director of the Colorado Tourism Office. “After fighting for Colorado’s tourism industry for over a decade in the General Assembly I am excited to begin this new endeavor,” said White. “Tourism is a great tool to create jobs that have a positive impact on the economy.”

Al White is a United States Army veteran, an entrepreneur and the State Senator for Colorado Senate District 8 which includes Moffat, Routt, Jackson, Rio Blanco, and Eagle Counties; and parts of Garfield County. During his tenure in the General Assembly Senator White has been a tireless advocate for job growth, economic development, education, limited government, agriculture and balancing environmental protection, recreational usage and resource management.
