RANGELY I The Rangely peewee wrestlers had a strong showing in their final tournament, finishing with the most top-four placers they have had all season.
At Saturday’s home tournament, seven Rangely wrestlers placed first, three placed second, eight placed third and nine placed fourth.
Placing first for Rangely were Tyce Lucero, Marstan Wagner, Karver Lopez, Cyris Gaylord, Hunter Hanvey, Lucas Heinle and Tryvor Brown. Placing second were Bryce Spann, Calvin Bishop and Anthony Martin. Placing third were Jaxson Torsell, Dontea Pearce, Brandon Willis, Colton Noel, Brody McElhaney, Josh Hume, Ketson Rouse and Troy Allred. Placing fourth were Kasen LeBleu, Wyatt Wiley, Carson Palacios, Corbin Lucero, Dylan LeBleu, Tytus Coombs, Byron Mackay, Grady Nielson and Cameron Filfred. Wrestling well but not placing were Gabe Polley, Dalton Dembowski, Devin Ramirez, CJ Lucero and Caleb Lawson.
I would like to thank all of the parents and the volunteers who helped make our tournament another success. I would also like to thank all of the wrestlers and coaches from around the league and surrounding area that showed up and participated in the Rangely tournament.
