RBC — Schmueser Gordon Meyer, Inc. (SGM), an 85-person engineering and surveying firm headquartered in Glenwood Springs, is offering up to two $1,000 scholarships to area high school and college students interested in pursuing civil engineering or surveying degrees.
In September 2001, SGM suffered the loss of co-worker and friend, Steve Westhoff. Westhoff’s integrity, humor and vast technical knowledge were an inspiration to SGM and many clients, and in 2002, SGM renamed its scholarship in his honor.
Applications are due by Friday, March 28 and can be obtained at area high schools, by calling SGM at (970) 945-1004, or by downloading from the Web at www.sgm-inc.com/news/press_releases/.
