Sharing the lights …

The recent full moon illuminated the top of one of the Christmas trees on the courthouse lawn at the PMC tree lighting ceremony Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Meeker elementary students and members of the high school band sang Christmas carols and the national anthem before the fourth annual holiday tree lighting event on the courthouse lawn, which featured a fireworks display after the tree was lighted.
Board members of the newly formed Pioneers Healthcare Foundation entertained supporters at the Meeker Hotel after the tree lighting. The mission of the foundation is to raise philanthropic dollars for healthcare programs, services and equipment and has partnered with the Borchard family to offer the Kris Borchard Strive for Excellence healthcare scholarship.
