MEEKER — The sheep club held its second meeting of the year Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. The first-year members led the pledges, secretary Denee Chintala read minutes from the previous meeting and treasurer Taylor Neilson gave an updated financial report as well as an overview of the possible expenses our club will have to deal with again this year.
Reporting from the 4-H council, Mason Brown told members about the successful grandparents dinner and reminded all members the district retreat is March 28.
The meeting concluded with a fun sheep/goat trivia game resulting in plenty of candy prizes.
Our next meeting is March 10 and we will be doing demonstrations (so please attend or you will have to make a demonstration up at another meeting) and all first year members must know the 4-H pledge by this time as well.
