RBC I The Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a countywide test of its CodeRed 911 reverse-calling system at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10.
This test of the system will allow the RBCSO to remove any phone listings that are no longer valid and to ask the public that may not have received the test call to either contact the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office or go to the community sign-in site.
By going to the county’s website at www.co.rio-blanco.co.us and clicking on the sheriff’s page or logging onto the Sheriff’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/RBSO911Communications and clicking on the CodeRed logo, you will be taken to the community sign-in page. You can list basic landlines and cell phones in case you are away from your residence and still want to receive emergency notifications.
Please list a name, address, phone number and any additional cell phones as you wish. By adding a cell phone provider you can also receive text messages in addition to any recorded messages.
You may also create an account that you can update if you move or change phone numbers, although it is not mandatory that you do so.
If you have any questions or problems with our CodeRed system, please contact the RBCSO at 970-878-9600. The sheriff’s office is available 24 hours a day, and personnel will be happy to assist you.
