Over the weekend, probably Sunday night, vandals attacked the Rangely Town Hall administrative office sign with large rocks, possibly attempting to hit the electronic message center. In the process, the vandals put a few dents in the black and green metal backdrop, broke out some of the lettering and the Rangely logo was shattered. Estimates to repair the sign and for the sign company to travel to Rangely for repairs could run around $1,000, Town Manager Peter Brixius said.
