RBC I Horizons Specialized Services will host a silent auction and spaghetti dinner Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Center in Meeker. The meal will be catered by Ma Famiglia. A cash bar will also be available compliments of the Meeker Lions Club. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth ages 3-12 and free for children under age 3.If you are unable to attend, you can still support Horizons by making a monetary contribution, donating an auction item, or being a corporate sponsor. To become a corporate sponsor, all you have to do is make a tax-deductible gift of $500. Corporate sponsors will get two adult and two youth tickets to the event and recognition in local newspapers and other media.Horizons provides Early Intervention therapy and services to children, helps adults with developmental disabilities live independently, and assists families with some of the expenses involved in caring for individuals with disabilities. They serve 68 children, 77 adults and 105 families across five counties, including Rio Blanco County.
