RANGELY I Tessa Erin Slagle of Rangely will be presented with the Good Citizen Award at 1 p.m. on Jan. 11 at the Mount Garfield Daughters of the American Revolution monthly meeting in Grand Junction.
The agenda includes the annual Good Citizens and Community Service awards. The students to be honored as Good Citizens this year are: Tessa Erin Slagle of Rangely High School; Larissa Marie Cox of Grand Junction High School; Grace Elizabeth Nelson of Fruita Monument High School; Phoebe Abigail Stoye of Palisade High School; Michael Christopher Smith of Caprock Academy; and Shamron Janay Willison of Central High School.
The students participated in a scholarship competition, and the winner, whose entry will advance to a statewide competition, will be announced at the meeting.
