RBC — The fourth and final snow survey of the winter was conducted April 30 at three of the four snow survey sites in the upper White River Basin. The White River snow pack water equivalent (snow moisture) is 77 percent above last year at this time. Basin wide, the White River snow pack is 6 percent above the 30-year average snow moisture for this point in the year.
The last time we had a similar snowpack was 1998. With such a good start to the water year let’s just hope the rest of the year keeps up.
