RBC — With the 2008-2009 snowmobile season just around the corner, now is the time to get your membership in the White River Snowmobile Club. Your membership and support are vitally important for the club:
n To continue promoting and lobbying to assure winter playgrounds remain accessible to current and future generations
n To maintain the current level of trail marking and trail grooming operations
n To sponsor and promote snowmobile safety, education and avalanche training
n To assist the Colorado Snowmobile Association with providing a $1,000 scholarship
n To provide trail maps
n To promote the many other activities of the club
Membership provides:
n Automatic membership in the Colorado Snowmobile Association
n Complimentary subscription to the “Snow Scoop” the official newspaper for the Colorado Association of Snowmobile Clubs, published monthly August and October-March.
Commercial memberships get:
n The business name and address listed in each issue of the “Snow Scoop.”
n Scheduling, planning, and attending club rides
n Eligibility to apply for the CSA $1,000 scholarship
n Several other benefits
The club meets monthly on the third Monday of each month October through March. Meetings are held at Gary’s Steak House (624 Market St.) beginning at 5:30 p.m. Your attendance is encouraged but not required.
Membership dues are $40 for family/individual memberships and $50 for business memberships. The club welcomes your membership.
