MEEKER I The SOS (Support Our Students) program matches community mentors with students at Meeker Elementary School. The program offers support to children in many different areas and on an individual basis. Students are recommended for the program by their teachers. With permission from their parents they are paired with an SOS partner. These volunteers come to the school approximately one hour per week to provide valuable, one-on-one support for the students. Volunteers are provided guidance from the student’s teacher. If you are interested in being a mentor, call the elementary school, 878-9050.
