After taking first place in the 2A Game Day Division at the regional cheerleading championships in November, Meeker High School’s varsity cheerleading squad headed to state competition in Denver last weekend. They competed with 2A and 3A schools (all-girl and coed) in the Game Day Division on Friday and placed 13th out of 20 teams. “It was amazing and we learned a ton for next year,” said Head Coach Antina DiBenedetto.
