On Feb. 28, the mobile field trip known as the STEM Museum arrived at Meeker Elementary School. Stem stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. All elementary students and Barone Middle School sixth-graders enjoyed the day with hands-on demonstrations. They had an opportunity to experience robotics, 3D printer mathematic shapes, gears, etc. Meeker’s Parent-Teacher Organization sponsored the program. The man in charge of the STEM Museum has taken this museum all over the country and he said the Meeker students are very well mannered and followed directions very nicely.
