MEEKER — Pam Stranathan, principal of Barone Middle School, has made it to the top cut of the MetLife Principal of the Year Award. She was nominated by her peers and went through the first level of screening. During this screening, she had to submit information pertaining to what the staff and students have accomplished at BMS.
Stranathan will interview with 15 people Feb. 29, who will then determine the state and national level Middle School Principal of the Year.
This award will be announced in the summer with awards being given in the fall in San Diego, Calif.
