Streaker Sightings: January 15

MEEKER — The Meeker Streaker took our Meeker area seniors on the following trips in the month of December.
Rifle: Six people went for a day of shopping
GJ: Six people went for a shopping day and three doctors appointments
Craig: Seven people went for shopping and one doctors appointment
Town Scenic Trip: Canceled due to weather
Church: Two days this month with four riders
Wing Trip: Was canceled due to weather but six residents braved the cold for the courthouse lighting
Council on Aging: Two went to Rifle for their meeting
CW: Seventeen days with 61 riders, 27 doctor and dental appointments, and 171 stops for at the post office, Watt’s, etc.
Holiday Social: Five town residents and 14 Wing residents attended
Special Route: We are taking a special girl to school until her bus is ready
Tour of Lights: Nine town residents traveled around town looking at the lights
The Streaker provides transportation for senior citizens in the Meeker area. If you would like to sign up for a Meeker Streaker trip please call 878-5347 or 942-7125. You can also sign up at CW. Ride preference is given to senior citizens. Other people are invited to go on the trips as seating is available.
