Streakers enjoy Senior Follies play

MEEKER — The Meeker Streaker took Meeker area seniors on the following trips in the month of March:
Rifle: Had five people going for a day of shopping.
Grand Junction: Had six people going for one doctor appointment, lunch and a day of shopping.
Craig: Had four people going for a day of shopping and lunch.
Town scenic trip: Had seven riders going to Grand Junction for the ‘Senior Follies’ play.
Wing scenic trip: Had three people going to play Bingo.
Church: There were four days this month with 15 riders.
Council on Aging: Had two riders going to Rifle for the meeting.
Chuckwagon: Had 17 days with 31 riders for Chuckwagon, 26 doctor appointments and 158 stops for the post office, Watt’s, dentist, etc.
St. Patrick’s Day dinner: Had eight Wing residents and one town resident going for dinner.
High school play: Had four people going to the play.
The Streaker provides transportation for senior citizens in the Meeker area. If you would like to sign up for a Meeker Streaker trip, please call 878-5347 or 942-7125 or attend Chuckwagon to get on the list. Ride preference is given to senior citizens. Other people are invited to go on the trips as seating is available.
