Streakers get dental work

MEEKER — The Meeker Streaker took our Meeker area seniors on the following trips in the month of March.
Rifle: Five riders went for a day of shopping.
Grand Junction: Nine riders went for two doctor’s appointments, lunch and a shopping day.
Craig: Four riders went for lunch and a shopping day.
Town Scenic: Canceled due to lack of riders.
Wing Scenic: Nine residents going to Craig for shopping and then later that week four residents went to play bingo.
Council on Aging: Two riders going to Rifle for their meeting.
Church: Four days this month with 13 riders.
Chuckwagon: Eighteen days with 49 riders to Chuckwagon, 22 doctor appointments and 150 various stops.
Holiday Social: Eleven Wing residents and three town residents going to have a fun time.
CNCC Dental: Nine riders going to Rangely for dental work.
The Streaker provides transportation for senior citizens in the Meeker area. If you would like to sign up for a Meeker Streaker trip, please call 878-5347 or 942-7125 and get or get on the list at Chuckwagon. Rider preference is given to senior citizens. Other people are invited to go on the trips as seating is available.
