AAU basketball season ends at home

MEEKER I The Meeker AAU season came to a close Thursday night with the sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade girls playing two games against Rifle and Rangely.

AAU basketball teams play in Meeker today

Meeker has three AAU basketball teams playing, and the 12-and-under team, coached by Hallie Blunt and Jamie Rogers, featuring Matilda Brown, Julia Dinwiddie, Caleigh Morlan, Carly Neilsen, Serena Goedert, Makenna Burke, Madison Kindler, Kirstin Brown and Kolby Franklin placed second in the Rifle tournament. The teams will host Rangely and Rifle today in the final games of the season, playing games at the high school and Barone Middle School.
